PRESIDENT

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR 

Shalonda Hill is a serial entrepreneur that has more than 20 years of experience in business. After many trials and tribulations, including her own felony convictions, Shalonda successfully launched businesses in several industries. She's an NPPES NPI authorized community health worker providing services and support to women who experience alopecia and other conditions that may cause hair loss. Shalonda understands the limitations and disenfranchisement that people with convictions face and she is committed to transforming the lives of returned citizens, one program at a time.

VICE PRESIDENT 

Essence Hoston is a trailblazer and grassroots organizer with a passion for social justice. Witnessing the challenges and prejudices faced by her loved ones fueled her commitment to creating positive change for people with felony convictions. A member of the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ), Essence actively engages in projects that address systemic issues. She is a student at Bethune-Cookman University earning a bachelor's degree in forensic science and criminology. Essence spends her free time studying, organizing, and practicing photography.

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY  ENGAGEMENT

Regin Nelson is passionate about being a catalyst for positive change. She is a dedicated social justice organizer committed to fostering equality and inclusivity in the community. From organizing protests to developing educational programs, Regin strives to amplify voices that often go unheard. Regin is driven by the belief that everyone deserves equal opportunities and rights. During her leisure time, Regin enjoys planning social events and sharing new experiences with her two sons.

DIRECTOR OF SUPPORT SERVICES

Susana Gonzalez is a dedicated social justice advocate committed to supporting individuals with felony convictions and their families. Her passion stems from her many years working in the healthcare industry and a belief in the transformative power of empathy. Through volunteer work, Susana strives to break down barriers, challenge stigmas, and create avenues for rehabilitation and reintegration. In her free time, Susana likes to travel, decorate spaces, and watch WWE Raw/Smackdown.

TREASURER

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMING AND PHILANTHROPY 

Tria’le Thomas is a compassionate advocate for educational equity, mental healthcare accessibility, and social justice reform. She has over a decade of experience working with vulnerable communities, including veterans, low-income students, and individuals experiencing homelessness. An alumna of Florida A&M University and Florida State University, Tria’le is an experienced nonprofit board member for several charitable organizations. Tria’le spends her leisure time painting, reading, and caring for her many plants.

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Daria Lott is a champion for civil rights, economic justice, and community empowerment. Her personal motto is to “share positivity one smile at a time.” Daria is a community-oriented business owner that has over 10 years of experience in culinary business development and management. She is a crusader for reunifying families, and her greatest desire is to contribute to the betterment of the community. Daria enjoys designing creative content, crafting delicious recipes, and mixology.

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

Jalonda Hollingshed has a great talent for connecting people and a passion for improving the lives of others. She actively engages in initiatives to dismantle stereotypes and advocate for policies that promote equitable treatment for all, regardless of their past mistakes. Jalonda is a small business owner who enjoys live music, time with family, and researching organic ingredients for her natural skincare products.
